Who Ethan Looks Like...

Everyone says that Ethan looks just like me when I was a baby. This is true...

9 Weeks Old

Ethan is 9 weeks old and has officially hit the 2-month mark! He's sooooo much happier now that he's on medication for his reflux, and he sleeps much better too. He had his 2-month well check and weighed just about 14 lbs. and measured 23 inches - a very healthy, growing boy! Unfortunately, he also had his first round of shots, which he did not like. But it wasn't anything that a hug from mom and a nap couldn't fix. :-) Ethan has also started teething very early, which according to Grandma Gloria is right on track with when her babies teethed. It may take a couple of weeks yet for his first tooth to pop through, but we can feel it in there, and he spends a lot of time gnawing on his hand or anything else mom holds for him to chew on.

8 Weeks Old

Ethan is 8 weeks old and becoming more and more social as he gets older. Mornings are his favorite, and he likes to smile and coo when he first wakes up. Unfortunately, we had to take a trip to the doctor this week for his acid reflux, but he is on medication now so hopefully he will feel better soon. And hopefully he will SLEEP more as well. A mother can always hope! :-) The good news is that he is growing well and is already 13 lbs., 7 oz., which puts him in the 90th percentile for weight!!

7 Weeks Old

Ethan is 7 weeks old and growing more and more each day! Last weekend, he was visited by his uncle Dale and cousins Darren and Delani, and he helped mommy celebrate her birthday. He loves to look around and listen to music, and he continues to be very strong!

New Years Weekend

Ethan attended his first wedding on New Years Day in Bismarck, N.D. (Joey Houle and Tracy Lundby), where Doug was the best man. He almost made it through the entire ceremony. And he had lots of fun meeting Grandpa and Grandma Jahner and Dan, Mary Jo, Jocelyn, and Chelsey. He was also very handsome in his tux sleeper!
