Weeks 15-16

Ethan continues to grow and grow! He has really gotten adjusted at daycare and recognizes the workers and other babies now. Unfortunately, he does not sleep through the night yet...not even close. So mommy is very tired at work. And it never fails - on mornings he goes to daycare, mommy has to wake him up, while on mornings that she is home with him, he is up bright and early. Little stinker! Being at daycare has brought him his first and second colds already, and he hasn't really felt up to par for the last few weeks. But he is a trooper with his stuffy little nose and congestion. Despite feeling crummy, he continues to work on giggling, smiling, chewing on whatever he can get his little hands on, and kicking himself in circles. He still hates tummy time and is pretty resistant to rolling over. ("Why would I want to roll to my tummy when I hate being on my tummy so much, mom?!") But he sits and stands like a little champ. Standing is his favorite. It's so fun to watch him change each week!

Always so happy after waking from a nap!

Still hates the cadillac of all swings.

Waking from a nap in mommy's arms.

Happy with mom!

Wearing cousin Trevor's and Jadin's slippers.

What he looks like at 7 am on mornings mommy has to work.

Looking fashionable for daycare thanks to auntie Dina!

What he looks like at 7:00 am on mornings mommy does not have to work.

He's not much into long naps, but he's the king of 30 minute catnaps!

Doing his best Elvis impression.

Loves his seahorse glow worm.

Not a Duke fan I guess!

He likes Jordan though!

Hmmmm....this looks tastey...

I'd better try a little...

Wha? I didn't do it!

Looking fashionable again, thanks to auntie Dina!

If...only...I...could...get this whole thing in my mouth.

A rare moment of happy tummy time!

Weeks 13-14

Ethan has gotten so big in the last couple of weeks! He learned to giggle, he holds and chews on rattles like a pro, and he goes to daycare. It's been so hard for mommy to leave him while she works, but they're both getting into a routine, and he likes the action at daycare. Now when mommy is home with him on her days off, he looks at her like, "Hello, entertain me!" The perk of going back to work is mommy's new free iPhone with cool camera apps. :-)
