12 Weeks - Baptism

Ethan had a big week with a visit from Grandma Norby and then his baptism on Saturday, February 26. He and grandma had fun playing and making his cross baptismal cake. Ethan also had his first trial run at daycare for a few hours this week as well. Unfortunately, it didn't go so well, and he was screaming and crying so hard when I picked him up. It broke my heart! The daycare center was a little overwhelming for the little man, but hopefully he gets used to it...and mommy gets used to it as well. :-( He's also been teething in full force and not feeling very hot. Lots of long nights! He had a nice baptism and was very handsome in his little white suit. He wasn't too thrilled being up front during the actual baptism and screamed pretty loud, but it made the baptism interesting. :-) The congregation still thought he was a handsome little man! Thanks to Uncle Brion and Aunt Cherise for driving to Minneapolis to be his godparents.

11 Weeks

Ethan had a very busy 11th week with a full social calendar. He went to his first birthday party for Brielle Berube (2 years old) and got to meet her brand new baby brother, Barrett. He also had dinner with Jersey (almost 2 years old) and her brand new baby sister, Raiken (daughters of Shannon and Marlo (Lindsey) Stubbs). Valentine's Day fell during his 11th week, which he happily spent cuddling with mommy and putting up with her constant picture taking. :-) But the best part of the week happened on Friday morning when Grandma Gloria came to visit! Unfortunately, his teething came on in full force this weekend, and he wasn't feeling well. Poor little guy. But a little TLC from Grandma sure helps!

10 weeks old

Ethan gets more and more smiley and curious every week! He loves to lay and look around the room and kick. He's still not a fan of tummy time, but we're working on it. Last week, he visited daddy at work, and this week, he took his first trip to downtown Minneapolis and went to mommy's law firm in the U.S. Bank South Tower. He was a hit! Everyone loved taking turns holding him, and he did so well with all of the new people. Mommy only has two more weeks left at home with him. She's going to miss being with her little man everyday. :-(
